TMISAT Syllabus

A good knowledge of the syllabus is very important while preparing for an entrance exam. TMISAT Syllabus will cover all the important topics from which the questions will be asked in the paper. In this way, the candidates will also be able to collect their study material accordingly. The syllabus will basically cover the topics from the subjects of Physics and Mathematics studied by the candidates at class 11th and 12th level. The syllabus of the exam will be closely related to the TMISAT exam pattern and therefore, the candidates are suggested to get a fair idea of both before preparing for the exam.

TMISAT Syllabus

Questions in the TMISAT exam will be asked from class 11th and 12th Physics and Mathematics. Apart from this, certain questions to test the analytical & logical reasoning ability will also be asked. The topic-wise TMISAT syllabus 2021 is given in details below.

Syllabus for Physics

Class 11th topics: Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Thermodynamics, Oscillations and Waves and Behaviour of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory

Class 12th topics: Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Magnetic Effects of Current and Magnetism, Optics, Electromagnetic Waves, Atoms and Nuclei, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Communication Systems and Electronic Devices

Syllabus for Mathematics

Class 11th topics: Sets, Relations and Functions, Principle of Mathematical Induction, Trigonometric Functions, Linear Inequalities, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem, Sequence and Series, Straight Lines, Introduction to Three-dimensional Geometry, Conic Sections, Statistics, Probability, Limits and Derivatives, and Mathematical Reasoning

Class 12th topics: Relations and Functions, Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Matrices and Determinants, Continuity and Differentiability, Integrals, Applications of Derivatives, Differential Equations, Applications of the Integrals, Probability, Linear Programming, Vectors, and Three-dimensional Geometry

Analytical & Logical Reasoning Syllabus

Number Series, Odd One Out, Statement and Conclusion, Data Sufficiency, Coding-Decoding, Analogies, Blood Relation, Letter Series, Direction, etc

Preparation Tips

The candidates preparing for the TMISAT can follow the tips mentioned below to prepare well for their exams:

  • Prepare a time table, assigning proper time to different subjects and follow it strictly.
  • Refer only to authentic books for preparation for the exam.
  • All the important topics of the exam require rigorous practice. Practice as much as you can. Do not leave any exercise of NCERT books.
  • Make short notes or flashcards of the important topics. These are really helpful during revision.
  • Physical fitness is also very important and therefore the candidates must take care of their health. Do not skip meals and exercise daily.
