Jharkhand Polytechnic Eligibility criteria: The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECE) is the respective authority which organized Jharkhand Polytechnic every year. Jharkhand Polytechnic, also refers to Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (PECE) is as state level entrance test held for providing admission to the various diploma courses in the state of Jharkhand. The PECE entrance examination is going to be organized in the month of May. Candidates who fail to satisfy any single eligibility condition as prescribed by the authority for JCECEB PECE will not be considered qualified. Nationality/domicile:

Candidate should be the Indian national and hold a permanent/Local resident certificate of Jharkhand state.

They have to submit the Local Residential Certificate along with Caste Certificate that is issued by the authority given by Government of Jharkhand.

Aadhaar Card:

Candidates must possess a valid Aadhaar card in order to apply for the exam. Your Aadhaar card number is obligatory for filling the JCECEB PECE application form.

Required educational qualification:

  • Aspirants should have done the high school or equivalent examination from a recognized university with scoring a minimum of 35% marks.
  • Candidates appearing candidates qualifying examination i.e. class 10th or equivalent examination are also eligible to apply for the Jharkhand Polytechnic 2018. However, they have to produce the passing certificate of class 10th before the date of counselling.

Age criteria:

There is no provision of minimum and upper age limit to apply for the Jharkhand Polytechnic.

In case, candidates who are willing to apply for the mining engineering course of the diploma should have attained the minimum age of 17 years as on or before 1st July of the examination year.
