MP PAT 2021: Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board is the authority responsible for conducting the MP Pre-Agricultural Test 2021 or MP PAT 2021. Through this exam, the eligible candidates can get admission to B.Sc. Hons (Agriculture), B.Sc. Hons (Horticulture), B.Sc. Hons (Forestry), and B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) degree courses. The admissions will be provided in various agricultural universities across the state of Madhya Pradesh.   In order to apply for this entrance exam, the candidates have to submit an online application form before that last date. It is being expected that the application process may start from June 2021. All the necessary information regarding MP PAT 2021 entrance exam is provided in this post.

MP PAT 2021 Main Highlights

  • All the candidates who will get selected for the admission have to submit a medical fitness certificate.
  • There is no age limit applicable in order to apply for the MP PAT exam.
  • It is mandatory for every applicant to carry a black pen while appearing for the exam.
  • The board will conduct the exam and send the scores to the institutes who will conduct the counselling. Please note that the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board will not organize the counselling.
  • The admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of candidate’s performance in the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

It is compulsory for all the candidates to meet the following eligibility criteria in order to apply for the MP PAT Exam 2021.

Nationality and Nativity

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Aspirants from the state of Madhya Pradesh only can apply. In case the candidates have studied for 3 years in Madhya Pradesh in last 5 years then they can also apply irrespective of their nativity.

Age Limit

  • There is no maximum or minimum age limit applicable for this exam.

Education Qualification

The education qualification is different for all the courses as given below:

B.Sc. Hons (Agriculture/ Horticulture)

  • The candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with the following subject groups.
    • Science Stream: Physics, Chemistry and Maths/ Biology/ Forestry
    • Agriculture Stream: Agriculture Mathematics and Science along with crop production, horticulture, animal husbandry, poultry farming.

B.Sc. Hons (Forestry)

  • Applicants should have cleared the 10+2 exam in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Agriculture/ Mathematics/ Biology/ Forestry subjects.

B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering)

  • The aspirant must have cleared the 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics subjects.

Note: Students who will appear for the qualifying exam in the year 2021 can also apply.

Physical Fitness (only for B.Sc. Hons Forestry)

  • The height of candidates should be at least 163 cms (152.5 in case of Gorkhas, Nepali, Garhwali, Kumaoni, and people of Tripura, Manipur, Sikkim, Nefa, Laddakh & Bhutan)
  • Chest girth should be 84 cms and expansion must be 5 cms.

MP PAT Application form 2021

MP PAT Application Form 2021 will be available only in online mode. To start the application process, the candidates first need to register on the official website. Check the instructions below for filling the application form.

  • First of all, the aspirants have to visit the official website i.e. www.peb.mp.gov.in and register as a new user.
  • The candidates have to provide their phone numbers and create a user-id & password at the time of registration.
  • Then, the aspirants need to log into their account and start filling the details in the application form.
  • Applicants should make sure that they provide only the authentic details in the application form. The documents will be verified later and the candidature may get rejected in case of furnishing false information.
  • Along with the details, the candidates also need to upload the scanned images of the following documents.
    • Candidate’s photograph
    • Signature
    • Declaration written in own hand-writing
    • 10th or 8th class certificate (as a proof of date of birth)
    • Class 12th mark sheet
  • After uploading the document and entering the details, the aspirants have to pay the required application fee.
  • Once the application form is submitted, the candidates should take its printout and keep it safe for future requirements.

Application Fee

The application fees for different categories are as follows:

  • SC/ ST/ OBC candidates of Madhya Pradesh: Rs. 500/-
  • PWD (Physically handicapped) applicants of MP: Rs. 250/-

Mode of Payment

  • An aspirant can pay the application fee in online mode through the payment gateways available on the official website using a credit card, debit card or net banking.
  • In case the candidates do not have credit/ debit card or net banking then they may visit the CSC center for application fee payment.
  • Please note that some additional charges need to be paid in case of submitting the MP PAT application fee 2021 through CSC center.

  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for every correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: Not applicable.

MP PAT Syllabus 2021

The subject wise syllabus of MP PAT Examination 2021 is given below:

Physics: Unit and dimensions, dimensional analysis, S.I. Units, Acceleration due to gravity, Hooke’s law, Heat conduction in one dimension, convection and radiation, Periodic motion, Simple harmonic motion, wave motion, principle of superposition, wave nature of light, reflection, refraction, total internal reflection, curved mirrors, lenses, the human eye, coulomb’s law etc.

Chemistry: Structure of atom, chemical bond, solutions, solid state, nuclear chemistry, thermo chemistry and thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, chemical periodicity, transition metals, chemical analysis, polymers, bio-molecules, etc.

Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry of two dimensions, Co-ordinate geometry of three dimensions, vector algebra, differential calculus, integral calculus, differential equations, statistics, numerical methods, linear programming, etc.

Biology: Structural organization of cell, cell theory, light and electron, microscopic view of cell, Mendel’s laws of inheritance, difference between prokaryote and eukaryotes, five kingdom classification binomial nomenclature, ecosystem, structure and function of animal tissues epithelial, histology of mammalian organs, developmental biology and genetics, etc.

Agriculture: Meteorology, Soils, Tillage, Manures and Fertilizers, Weeds and weed control, Irrigation and drainage, cropping scheme, crop production, cultivation of fruit plants, fruits and vegetable preservation, Animal husbandry, Milk and milk testing, diseases of cattle, etc.

MP PAT Admit Card

  • The authorities will release the admit card for MP PAT exam in two parts through its official website.
  • The following information will be available on the first part of an admit card i.e. Name of candidate, Examination center, Roll Number and Name of exam etc.
  • Please note that admit cards will not be sent by post.
  • In the second part of an admit card, information about visible body marks etc. will be available.
  • All the candidates have to carry two photographs, a black pen and one photo identity proof (in original) along with the admit card at the examination center.
  • Applicants without having the required documents will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Answer Keys

  • After conducting the exam, the authorities will publish the answer keys so that the candidates can match their answers.
  • The answer keys for all the exam slots will be released together. All the answer keys will be downloadable from the official website.
  • Aspirants will get the facility to submit an objection against the answer key.
  • While submitting an objection, the candidates must provide appropriate proof.
  • The challenge to an answer key can be submitted within a limited time period only.

Result

  • The result of the MP PAT 2021 exam will be declared in online mode through the official website of the board.
  • Candidates will be able to check their scorecard and download the same.
  • Board will not send the scorecard to any candidate by post.
  • Along with the result, the merit list of the selected candidates will also be released.
  • Merit lists will also be forwarded to the concerned authorities for counselling and other admission formalities.

Counselling

  • The applicants who will score more than the qualifying marks will be able to participate in the counselling process.
  • Seats will be allotted during the counselling process as per the marks secured by the candidates.
  • All the candidates have to carry their original documents at the time of counselling for verification purpose.
