VSAT 2022: Application Form, Dates, Eligibility Criteria, Exam Pattern

VSAT 2022 (Vignan’s Scholastic Aptitude Test) will be conducted by the Vignan University to select efficient candidates for admissions into engineering and pharmacy degree programme. This will be a computer-based test and the interested candidates can submit their application from now. Apart from VSAT 2022, the candidates clearing EAMCET/ TS EAMCET/ JEE (Mains)/ JEE (Advanced) will also be considered for admissions. VSAT 2022 Important Dates

VSAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria

• The applying candidates should be born on or after 1st July, 2001.
• A pass in Intermediate or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks is necessary to appear for VSAT 2022.
• Candidates qualifying the AP EAMCET/ TS EAMCET/ JEE (Mains)/ JEE (Advanced) in the year 2021 with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the Intermediate (or equivalent) examination are also eligible.
• The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply.

VSAT 2022 Application Form

The application form for VSAT 2022 can be filled in both online and offline mode.

Apply online:

1. The VSAT application form 2022 can be obtained from the official website vignanuniversity.org. You can fill and submit the form in online mode. The application fee of Rs. 1200/- can be paid through net banking/ credit card/ debit card. In case of online filled form, there is no need to send the hard copy to the university’s office.
2. The candidates can also download the online application form, fill it manually and then send it with a demand draft of Rs. 1200/-.

Offline application:

1. The candidates can obtain the application form via post on payment of Rs. 1200/- through demand draft drawn in favor of Vignan University, payable at Guntur or in person from any of Vignan Schools or Colleges at Guntur, Hyderabad, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Ongole and Vignan offices at Vijayawada, Guntur & Hyderabad.
2. Applications can also be obtained from Indian Bank branches throughout the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The candidates will have to provide the basic personal details such as name, date of birth, gender, category, address, etc and paste a photograph on the specified place in the form. In addition to this, course choice, test center choice, test date and timing choice and details of qualifying exam will also be entered in the application form.

The filled application form should be sent to the Dean-Admissions: Vignan’s University, Vadlamudi, Guntur – 522 213 (A.P), so as to reach before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD. A photocopy of the same must be also kept safe with the candidates to be produced at the time of counseling and admission.

Exam Pattern

• The test will be conducted in online mode.
• The medium of the paper will be English only.
• The duration of the test will be 2:30 hours.
• The paper is divided into 4 sections namely, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and English/ Aptitude.
• Each section will comprise of 30 questions and each question will carry 1 mark.
• There will be no negative marking.

• Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English/ Aptitude will be eligible for B.Tech and B.Pharmacy programmes.
• Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/ Aptitude will be eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering/ Food Technology and B.Pharmacy programmes.

Admit Card

• VSAT 2022 admit card will be available for download on the university’ website. Apart from this, the admit card/ hall ticket will also be dispatched through courier/ speed post. The admit card will contain the name, photograph, signature, address of the test centre and test date & time. The candidates can download the admit card for VSAT 2022 by entering their application number or date of birth. The candidates will not be permitted to take the test without a valid admit card and the admit card should be produced to the invigilators for verification.
• The candidates should check all the entries of the admit card and any discrepancy if found should be communicated immediately to the Dean-Admissions, Vignan’s University ([email protected], Ph: +91863-2344777/ 78, Toll free No. 1800-425-2529).   Those who are not able to receive their admit card 7 days before the date of test must report the same immediately to the Dean-Admissions. Those who still do not get their admit card would have to meet the University Representative one day before the examination at the test centre with a xerox copy of the application form and DD and two attested passport size photographs, identical to the one affixed on the application form.

VSAT 2022 Result and Counseling

VSAT result 2022 will be declared in the month of May. On the basis of the marks obtained in the exam (VSAT 2022 /EAMCET 2022/JEE 2022), the candidates will be assigned a rank. A merit list of the qualified candidates will be prepared based on the performance in the test and they will be called for the counseling to be held at the Vignan’s University premises at Vadlamudi, Guntur District, AP.

The details of the VSAT 2022 counseling, i.e., date and time will be intimated to the candidates either by post or mail or SMS. The same will also be displayed on the official website. No change in the schedule of counseling will be allowed and those who do not appear on the specified date and time will forfeit their candidature. The candidates will have to bring the following documents for verification on the day of counseling:

• Counseling call letter
• VSAT/ JEE/ EAMCET hall ticket
• VSAT/ JEE/ EAMCET rank card
• 10th class certificate as a proof of date of birth
• Marks sheet of qualifying examination
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Aadhaar Card

The candidates will have to submit the admission fee of Rs 10,000 and will receive a seat allotment letter. This fee is non-refundable.

Admission Process

After the allotment of branch and college at the time of counseling, the candidates will have to report at the allotted institute to complete the admission process. The candidates will have to pay the required tuition fee. This tuition fee will be refunded if the student cancels his/ her admission before the commencement of class. The candidates will have to submit the following documents (original) at the time of admission:

• Provisional letter of admission offer
• Qualifying examination marks sheet
• 10th Class marks memo
• Transfer Certificate / Migration Certificate
