PGIMER Nursing 2024: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh will organize entrance test to select the candidates for admission into its B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) courses. PGIMER Nursing 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Check below the detailed eligibility criteria for appearing in the PGIMER Nursing 2024 exam:

For B.Sc Nursing:

  • Only female candidates are eligible for this course.
  • Applicants should have passed class 12th or equivalent exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate.
  • Those appearing in the 12th board exam in the year 2024 can apply too.
  • Age of the candidate should not be more than 25 years and less than 17 years as on 1st September, 2024.

For B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic):

  • A pass in 10+2 or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board is required.
  • The candidates must have passed General Nursing and Midwifery with minimum of 50%aggregate.
  • Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife qualified from a recognized institute and registration with respective State Nursing Council as approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) or substitute registration in case of male candidates is also required.
  • Age of the candidate should not be more than 45 years as on 1st September, 2024.

  • The candidates will have to provide their personal information like name, parent’s name, date of birth, caste, gender, etc in the form.
  • Educational details such as qualifying exam school, board name, marks scored, year of passing, etc should also be provided into the application form.

  • In-service candidates should take a printout of the filled application form and route it along with necessary documents through their employer.

PGIMER Nursing 2024 Admit Card

  • The admit card to appear for the entrance test will be released on the official website of the institute.
  • Candidates will be able to download their admit card 2 weeks before the exam by logging into their account using their login id and password.
  • On the admit card, basic details related to candidates such as name, roll number, etc and that to exam such as venue, schedule will be printed.

  • The entrance test result is expected to be announced in the month of August 2024 and can be checked from the official website.
  • Overall rank of all the candidates will be decided based on the percentile scores.
  • An overall merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance exam. Category-wise merit list will also be drawn by the exam authorities.
