BVP CET Law 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below to appear for BVP CET Law exam 2023:

For 3-year LLB course:

  • Age limit: The maximum age of the candidates should not exceed 30 years (35 years for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
  • Academic qualification: Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).

For 5-year BA.LLB and BBA.LLB course:

  • Age limit: The maximum age of the candidates should not exceed 20 years (22 years for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).
  • Academic qualification: Candidates should have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates).

For 1-year & 2-year LLM course:

  • Academic qualification: Applicants should have done LLB from a recognized university scoring not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks for SC/ ST candidates).

BVP CET Law 2023 Application Form

Candidates can obtain the application form for BVP CET Law 2023 from the official website of the university. Those who meet the minimum eligibility prescribed for admissions can proceed towards filling the application form.

  • To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and academic details.
  • Scanned copies of photograph and signature also need to be uploaded into the application form.
  • Duly filled application form can then be submitted online along with the prescribed application fee.
  • Before submission, details of the form should be checked as no changes will be possible after it is submitted successfully.

BVP CET Law 2023 Admit Card

  • The BVT CET law admit card 2023 will be released on the official website of the BVP University.
  • Candidates will be able to download their admit card online using their application details.
  • Applicants should take a printout of the admit card and carry it to the exam center on the day of exam.
  • Important details related to the exam such as center, date and time will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • Without a valid admit card, no candidates will be allowed to enter in the examination hall.

BVP CET Law 2023 Result

  • The BVP CET Law result 2023 will be announced in the month of June for LLB course and July for LLM course.
  • Result will be declared online and can be checked by the candidates by visiting the official university website.
  • Based on the score of the candidates in the entrance exam a merit list will be prepared by the authorities.
  • Candidates whose names appear in the list will then be invited for counseling and admission round.

BVP CET Law 2023 Admission Process

  • Counseling of the shortlisted candidates will commence around one week after the result declaration.
  • At the time of counseling, documents of the candidates will be verified. As such the candidates must report to the counseling with all their documents in original and photocopy.
  • After successful verification, seats will be allotted to the candidates as per their ranking.
  • The candidates should report for the admissions to the institute carrying the important documents and required fees.
  • Final admission will be granted after the certificates, eligibility and other criteria of the candidates are verified successfully.

Question 1: What happens if an ineligible candidate gets admission into the laws course of the university?

Answer: In case an ineligible candidate is able to secure admission into the law course by entering false information or using any other unfair means, it does not mean that he/she will be allowed to continue their course. Even after they have been granted final admission, they will be discontinued from completing the course once their ineligibility is discovered. Any kind of fees submitted will not be refunded.

Question 2: Other than online, is there any mode available for submission of application form?

Answer: Filling and submission of application form can be done only through online mode. Other than this, no mode will be provided to the candidates for this. In addition to this, payment of application fee can also be done through online mode only.

Question 3: If after filling the form I do not wish to appear for the exam, how do I get the refund?

Answer: Once submitted, you cannot get a refund on the application fee. However, if you do not wish to appear for the entrance exam, you can simply not.
