Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test 2024 or CG PET 2024 exam will be organized by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board or CG Vyapam. This exam is a gateway for admission to B.E/ B.Tech courses in various govt. and private colleges in the state of Chhattisgarh. It is an offline exam in which the aspirants have to answer 50 questions each from physics, chemistry, and Mathematics. The official notification of CG PET 2024 has been released now. The eligibility criteria that a candidate must fulfill in order to appear for the exam are as follows.
Nationality
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
Nativity
- Aspirants should belong to the state of Chhatisgarh.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification required for different courses is given below.
BE/ B.Tech
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the following subjects – Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational.
- Aspirants should have at least 45% aggregate marks in the Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates of Chhatisgarh).
- Individual passing marks in the three qualifying subjects (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational) are also compulsory.
BE/ B.Tech (Biotechnology)
- Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Biology/ Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following subjects Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational.
- Candidates also need to score at least 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying subjects mentioned above. (40% for SC/ ST/ PWD/ OBC candidates). Individual pass in each subject is also required.
B.Tech (Dairy Technology)
- Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. They should also have at least 50% marks in the above subjects (40% for C/ ST / OBC (NCL) candidates).
- The minimum age of a candidate is 17 years.
CG PET 2024 Application Form

CG PET Admit Card 2024
- The authorities will release admit cards 1 week prior to the examination date.
- Candidates need to provide their 15 digit registration number to download the admit card.
- The information related to the exam schedule and venue will be mentioned on the admit card.
- No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without carrying a valid admit card. Along with the admit card, candidates must also bring valid ID proof.
