Latest: AIIMS Nursing 2023 exam date has been released now for July session.
AIIMS Nursing 2023
- Only female candidates can apply for B.Sc (Hons) Nursing course.
- If any discrepancy in any question is found in the entrance exam, the candidate is advised to write to Assoc. Dean (Exam.), AIIMS, New Delhi – 110 608.
- Foreign nationals will be selected for admission in AIIMS, New Delhi only.
- These candidates are exempted from appearing in the entrance exam and will be offered admission on the basis of their marks in qualifying exam.
- Admission to B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic) course will be given on basis of combined performance in entrance test and personal assessment/ interview.
- OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in the nursing entrance test.
- For any query regarding application, admit card, etc, the candidates can email to the Assistant Controller Examinations AIIMS.

AIIMS Nursing 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria that need to be fulfilled for AIIMS Nursing 2023 are given below:
For B.Sc (Hons) Nursing:
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- Minimum age of the applicants should be 17 years as on 31st December 2023.
- Candidates should have passed the class 12th or equivalent exam With Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
- A minimum aggregate of 55% marks in these subjects is required (50% for SC/ ST candidates).
For B.Sc Nursing (Post Basic):
- A pass in class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board/ university is required.
- The candidate should have done Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from any institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- Registration as nurse, RN, RM (registered nurse, registered midwife) with any State Nursing council is necessary.
- In case of male nurses, a certificate in General Nursing and Training (in any of the OT Techniques/ Ophthalmic Nursing/ Leprosy Nursing/ TB Nursing/ Psychiatric Nursing/ Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing/ Community Health Nursing/ Cancer Nursing/ Orthopedic Nursing) for a period of six months is also required.
AIIMS Nursing 2023 Application Form
Interested candidates can apply online for AIIMS Nursing 2023 exam. The application form will be released at the AIIMS official website www.aiimsexam.org tentatively in the month of March 2023.
- Candidates will first have to fill a basic registration form and after successful basic registration, they can proceed towards final registration.
- The candidates will have to provide their personal and educational details to fill the application form.
- Scanned copies of photograph, signature and thumb impression should also be uploaded in the prescribed format.
- Once all the details are entered into the form, the candidates can submit it along with the prescribed application fee.
- The candidates are advised to download a copy of the filled-in application form and keep it safe for reference purpose.
- There is no need to send the hard copy of the application form or any other documents to AIIMS.

- Payment of application fee can be done online via credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
- Application fee once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Admit Card
- AIIMS Nursing 2023 admit card will be released around 15 days before the commencement of the exam.
- Applicants who complete the final registration successfully can download the admit card by visiting the official website.
- The candidates should take a printout of admit card and carry it to the exam center in order to appear for the exam.
- Important details of the exam like center and schedule will be communicated to the candidates via the admit card.
- Any discrepancy in the admit card must be immediately communicated to the Assistant Controller Examinations AIIMS.
- It is advised to preserve the admit card till the whole process of admission is over.
Result
- Result of the nursing entrance exam will be made available on the official website www.aiimsexam.org.
- No intimation regarding the declaration of the result will be sent to the candidates through any other means.
- A merit list of the candidates will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by them in the entrance test.
- Counseling of the candidates will be held as per their names in the merit list.
AIIMS Nursing 2023 Counselling
- Details of online counseling will be intimated to the candidates on the official website of AIIMS.
- Candidates will have to provide their choice for AIIMS at the time of counseling.
- A final open round counseling will be held in physical form. Documents of the candidates will be verified at the time of counseling.
- Final selection of the candidates will be done after verification of documents and eligibility.
- The selected candidates shall undergo a medical examination by the Board appointed by the respective institute.
- Medically fit candidates can then join the course after depositing the requisite fee.
- Candidates who confirm their seat will also have to go through biometric verification at the time of joining.
