JEE Advanced Application Form 2022: Aspirants seeking admission into various disciplines of Engineering from the IIT will first need to fill the application form for JEE Advanced. The Indian Institute of Technology is one of the most sought-after institutes for technical education in the country. IITs are spread across the length and breadth of the country. How to Register for JEE Advanced?

  • Login on the official portal using JEE Main Roll. No. and Password and click the link for registering.
  • Now provide the personal details, academic details and other details like the choice of cities for the examination and so on.
  • Upload the scanned copy of necessary documents.
  • Pay the required registration fee (given below in the table) and submit the form.
  • Take a printout of the form for future references.

Note:

  • The registration fee is Non-Refundable and no students can claim the refund for the same under any circumstances.
  • Candidates can pay the fee via online mode (Debit card/ Credit card/Net Banking/E-Challan) or by using cash at SBI Branch.

Documents Required for Registration

Candidates will have to upload scanned documents at the time of registration for JEE Advanced application form 2022. Here are the documents to be uploaded –

For Indian Nationals

For All Applicants

  • Class 10th certificate reflecting the date of birth.
  • Class 12th or its equivalent certificate
  • Gazette Notification (in case of name change).

For OBC-NCL applicants

OBC certificate should be issued on or after 1st April 2020 as per the latest guidelines of the government of India. If due to any reason, a candidate fails to collect the certificate on time then he/she can upload a declaration.

For SC/ST applicants

SC/ST certificate should be uploaded as per the latest guidelines by the government of India.

For PWD applicants

A physical disability certificate issued by a notified medical authority is needed to be uploaded. Dyslexic applicants will need to submit the form-dyslexic 1 instead of that for PWD.

For admission under DS category

Candidates will need to upload certificate (Form-DS) as issued by the competent authority in Directorate of Resettlement & Rehabilitation under MHA or Defence ministry.

For PIO/OCI applicants

PIO card or OCI certificate is needed to be uploaded.

For Foreign Nationals

Foreign Nationals are required to upload the scanned documents as stated below –

  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Class 10th certificate
  • Class 12th certificate
  • ID Proof
  • Parent’s Passport
  • Testimonials as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced

A candidate should fulfill all the five criteria to be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced. Applicants must ensure their eligibility before proceeding for the JEE Advanced application form 2022. They can go through the eligibility criteria given below for quick reference-

  1. Applicant should be among top 2, 24,000 in JEE Main.
  2. Applicant should have been born on or after 1st October 1996. Candidates from reserved category will get +5 years of age relaxation provided that they must have been born on or after 1st October 1991.
  3. No. of attempts: An applicant can attempt the exam only 2 times in two consecutive years.
  4. A candidate should have appeared in class 12th or its equivalent for the 1st time in 2021/2022.
  5. An applicant should not have been admitted in IIT irrespective of whether or not he/she continued in the program or cancelled the admission or any reason.
