The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Rajasthan will conduct the Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 admission process to select candidates for admission into diploma courses. The selected candidates will be granted enrolment into diploma engineering and non-engineering courses into the polytechnic colleges of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must fulfill these Rajasthan Polytechnic eligibility criteria 2022 before they fill out their application form:
For diploma in engineering: Those who have passed their class 10th or equivalent exam with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subjects and at least 35% marks in aggregate can apply. Individual pass in each of these subjects is also mandatory.
For diploma in engineering (lateral entry): For lateral entry, the candidates must have done any of the following:
- Diploma in engineering
- Class 12th with science stream (vocational or technical)
- 2 year IIT in appropriate branch done after class 10th
- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Ajmer, or CBSE Delhi or equivalent
Note: The candidates who will be appearing in the qualifying exam in the year of admission can also apply.
Rajasthan Polytechnic Application Form 2022
Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 application form will be made available on the official website hte.rajasthan.gov.in. The candidates can fill their application in online mode providing important details such as name, date of birth, gender, contact number, qualifying exam passing marks, years of passing, etc. Scanned copies of photograph, signature, mark sheets and other required documents will also be uploaded in the application form. The candidate will then have to submit the duly-filled application form along with the application fee of Rs. 300/-. The application fee payment can be done via online or E-Mitra.
In addition to the application form, the candidates will also have to fill up an option form providing the choice of the college and course they seek admission in. The choices must be filled in the order of preference as the admission will be provided on the basis of these choices.
Preparation of Merit List
A merit list of the candidates who have applied successfully for the Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 admissions will be drawn. The list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying exam. A provisional list will be published first and then the final list will be made after making any changes, if required, in the provisional list. The counseling will be done as per the names of the candidates in this list.
Rajasthan Polytechnic 2022 Counseling & Admission
The candidates who are in the merit list will be invited to take part in the counseling process. At the time of counseling, the candidates will be allotted a seat as per the rank of in the merit list and the choices made in the option form. After seat allotment, the candidates will have to visit the nodal center with all the original documents and processing fee. After document verification, the candidates can report the allotted institute to complete the admission formalities.
