VTUEEE Eligibility Criteria: Nationality, Age Criteria

Candidates wishing to pursue engineering from Veltech Dr. RR & Dr. SR University (VTU) must apply for the VTUEEE entrance exam by filling the application form. However, before proceeding for the application form, candidates must make sure that they satisfy the VTUEEE eligibility criteria laid down by the authority. Ineligible candidates won’t be permitted to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the University.

Through the exam, candidates will be selected for admission in various disciplines of B.Tech program offered by the University. It is important for the candidates to make sure they fit the VTUEEE eligibility criteria as specified by the authority to take the exam. The selection of the candidates will be done as per the marks scored by them in the exam.

VTUEEE Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the exam, candidates must fill the VTUEEE application form via online or offline mode as per their convenience. But before moving on to the application form, it’s important for the candidates to go through the eligibility requirements for the exam. The minimum necessary conditions that must be followed by the candidates if they wish to appear for the VTU engineering entrance examination (VTUEEE) are as follows-

Nationality: A candidate should be an Indian National in order to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Age Criteria: The age of the candidates must not exceed 25 years as on 1st July 2022. Reserved category candidates can claim age relaxation.

Qualifying examination: Candidates should have passed class 12th under 10+2 system of education /Intermediate/Pre-University examination or its equivalent conducted by any state board, CBSE board, NIOS, CISCE board, and other recognized board/University.

Percentage Required: Students should have secured minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM subject group) in class 12th final examination or its equivalent examination.

Appearing candidates: Those appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April/May 2022 can also apply for the VTUEEE entrance test.

Important Note:

  • Students should keep in mind that if at any stage it is found that the above-mentioned eligibility criteria are not fulfilled by the candidates, then their candidature will be cancelled by the authority and they won’t be considered for admission in the said course.
  • The students should know that the fee (application, tuition etc.) once paid will not be refunded or returned if they are found ineligible at any stage. Therefore, they can’t claim reimbursement after the payment of the application fee.
  • The date of birth (DOB) recorded in the Secondary education board/university will only be considered as authentic. Therefore, candidates must put the correct record in the application form.
