VITEEE Exam Pattern

  • Questions’ Type: All questions will be MCQ type only.
  • There will be four parts in the test namely Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV.
  • Candidates those have attended questions belonging to Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry are eligible to get admission all 14 programmes offered.
  • Candidates who have attempted questions from Physics, Biology and Chemistry are eligible to get admission into B.Tech Biotechnology, Bio-Medical Engineering and Computer Science and Engg (Spec. in Bioinformatics).
  • Syllabus: State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE board syllabus
  • Each part will consist of 40 questions and English has 5 questions containing one mark each.
  • Duration of the test: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
  • No negative marking scheme applicable for wrong answers.
  • Language mode: English

 Admission Procedure

Admission of a candidate gets confirmed as per his/her scored marks in VITEEE exam. Counseling process will be organized after declaration of merit list.

Counseling Procedure

Payment of Fee in Advance

Once the seat confirmation and acceptance of branch allotted to candidate, he/she needs to submit a demand draft of Rs. 50,000/- (Rs. 10,000/- towards counseling fee) in favour of VIT University’, payable at Vellore. Counseling fee won’t be refunded.

Seats/Branch Allocation through Counseling Process

Candidates will be allotted seats or branch as per their All India Rank in VITEEE 2016. Candidates are required to attend the counseling procedure in person. Following are the documents required to be submitted at the time of counseling:

  • E-Admit card and Counseling admit card.
  • Copy of result
  • 4 recently taken passport size photograph.
  • Provisional admission letter.
  • Affidavit in Rs. 20/- stamp paper duly signed by students.
  • Two sets of photocopies of all original documents.
