UPTU MCA 2021: Important Dates, Eligibility, Application Form

Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow is providing admissions to MCA programs for the academic year 2021-2022. The University will start the application process somewhere in the starting of the year 2019 in February month. The admissions will be offered trough UPTU MCA 2021 to the institutes that are affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow.

The candidates should read the notification released by the University. Even though the official notification has not yet released, so the important details related to the entrance exam can be checked from this article below.

How to Apply- UPTU MCA 2021

The application forms will be released at the official website. The candidates will be allowed to download the application forms from February 2021 as the application procedure will starts from February 2021. The application forms can be submitted only through online mode, the University will not entertain any other mode of application. Hence, there is no requirement of sending the hard copy of the application form.

As far as the application fee is concern, the fee can be paid through debit/credit card or net banking. The application fee specified for the Male/Transgender candidates of General & OBC category is Rs. 1000/-. On the other hand the fee to be paid for reserved categories & female categories is Rs. 500/-.

Eligibility Criteria- UPTU MCA 2021

The foremost thing to make sure is to check the eligibility criteria. The interested candidates should ensure the eligibilities before you start the application process. The eligibility criteria are as specified here.

• The candidates must have a 3 years Bachelor degree from a recognized University or equivalent degree recognized by AIU with minimum 50% aggregate marks (for reserved categories it should be 40%).
• The candidates must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Higher Secondary or Bachelor’s degree.
• There is no limitation of age to apply for UPTU MCA 2021.

Examination Model- UPTU MCA 2021

The model of the examination describes the patter of the examination. In this section you will get to know the details of the question paper including total questions, marks, mode of examination, penalty for incorrect answers etc.

• The examination will be held through online mode via Computer Based Test or CBT.
• The question paper will consists of total 100 questions of MCQ type.
• The examination will be completed in 2 hours duration.
• The applicants will get 4 marks for each correct answer and there will be no penalty for wrong answers.
• The total marks assigned for the question paper is 400.

Hall Ticket- UPTU MCA 2021

The expected date for the release of hall tickets is in the month of March 2021. The hall ticket will be issued in the official website of the University. The candidates have to provide the details to download the hall ticket such as the application number and DOB. The admit card has to be brought on the day of examination as it is the entry pass for the examination. The candidates should keep the admit cards carefully until the admission procedure is over.

Publication of Result- UPTU MCA 2021

The university will publish the examination result along with the answer key. The result will be declared expectedly in the month of May 2021. The university will release a separate merit list which will be prepared based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination. The result will be published at the official website of the university which can be obtained by providing few details as asked in the website.

Counseling-

The merit list prepared after result declaration is the process to shortlist the eligible candidates for counseling. The university will also release the schedule for counseling in its website. The candidates have to present as per the schedule along with their documents specified by the University for verification.
