University of Kashmir B.Ed. Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

It is the duty of the aspiring candidates looking for admission to make sure that they meet the following eligibility criteria before applying.

Nationality

  • Only Indian nationals can apply for the admission.

Educational Qualification

  • The candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks or equivalent. Candidates from reserved categories only require 40% aggregate marks in order to get admission.
  • Those aspirants who have a PG degree with at least 50% are also eligible in order to apply for the admission.
  • A bachelor’s degree under 10+2+2 scheme with 2 years teaching experience in the Govt. or Govt. recognized private school with 45% marks (General category) and 40% marks (Reserved category) is required in case of teacher candidates.

  • To begin the application process, candidates have to register on the official website by providing some of their basic details.
  • During registration, aspirants have to enter some of their basic details including name, email address, phone number, etc.
  • After registration, candidates can sign-in in order to access the main application form.
  • After accessing the main application form, candidates have to provide their complete educational, contact, and personal details accurately.

Application Fee

  • Irrespective of their categories, application fee is the same for all candidates i.e. Rs. 750/-
  • In addition to the application fee, aspirants also need to pay the additional IT fee of Rs. 50/-

Mode of payment: Interested candidates must pay the application fee in offline mode at any branch of the J& K Bank Finacle Account No. 0007010100002714. Against the Pay-in-Slip generated with the Application Form.

Important Notice: Candidates must note that the account number of application fee payment we have mentioned is as per the previous year’s notification. They must refer to the official notification of this year in order to confirm the account number.

University of Kashmir B.Ed. 2023 Merit List

  • The university will publish the merit list of the candidates selected for admission after screening the applications received.
  • The merit list will be published on the official website of the University of Kashmir.
  • Please note that the merit list will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam.
  • Those candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be allowed to take part in the counselling process.

  • Only those candidates will be allowed to participate in the counselling who will be shortlisted after the release of the merit list.
  • In the counselling process, aspirants have to provide the choice of colleges in which they are looking for an admission.
  • The allotment of seats will take place solely on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam and choice filled during the counselling.

Answer: Yes, it is compulsory for every candidate to submit the hardcopy of an application form to the university campus. The hardcopy of the application form should accompany the following documents.
