Thapar University conducts the entrance examination every year for the admission of the candidates in the various stream of the M. Tech program available in the University.

Thapar University M. Tech Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:
The Eligibility Criteria of Thapar University M. Tech Admission 2023 is the set of terms and conditions for the candidates that must be fulfilled by the candidates. The Application of the Candidates will be rejected in case of any discrepancy in the eligibility of the candidates. The detail of the Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
- The minimum qualification of the Candidates should be B.E/B. Tech from any of the recognized Board or the University with the 60% minimum qualifying marks for the General Category Candidates and 55% for SC/ST category candidates.
- Candidates should have the Nationality of the India.
- Candidates who will have the GATE score will be preferred on the candidates who will have the University entrance exam score.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination will be eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
Exam Pattern
The Exam Pattern of Thapar University M. Tech Admission 2023 is available here as per the previous year information due to the lack of the Official Notification. Following the Exam Pattern is must for all candidates. The detail of the Exam Pattern is as follow:
- The Mode of the entrance exam will be Online as well as Offline i.e. Pen Paper based.
- The Language of the exam will be English and Hindi.
- The type of questions in the exam will be Multiple Choice Questions types.
- Negative Marking of one mark will be there in the exam.
- The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
Application Form
The Application Form for the admission in the M. Tech courses will be available in the Online as well as offline Mode. Without filling the Application Form, No Candidate will be able to apply for the entrance exam. The step to fill the Application Form is as follows:
- In the Online Mode, Candidates will be able to get the Application Form from the Official website of the University i.e. thapar.edu.in
- In the Offline Mode, the Application Form will be available on the campus of the University and candidates can get it via Speed Post.
- Candidates should fill the complete details into the Application Form i.e. Qualification, Personal and other important details.
- Upload the Scanned copy of the Passport sized photograph and signature in the Online Mode and paste the current passport size photograph and do the signature on the Application Form of the Offline Mode.
- Do the Payment of Application Form Fee of Rs. 1500 via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking in the Online Mode and via Demand Draft in the favor of the Thapar University, Patiala in the Offline Mode.
- After the successful payment, submit the Application Form in the Online Mode and send the hard copy of the completely filled Application Form along with the required documents at the admission office of the University:

Admit Card
The Admit Card of Thapar University M. Tech Admission 2023 will be available in the Online Mode. The Admit Card will contain the all necessary information of the candidates i.e. Name, Qualification, Address, Contact Number as well as the Date, Time and the Venue of the exam as well so it must be carried by the Candidates while appearing in the Examination Hall.

Result
The Result of Thapar University M. Tech Admission 2023 will be declared after the entrance exam and it will be available after one month of the exam most probably. The University will declare the Result in the Online Mode and candidates should enter their details in order to check the Result.
A Hard copy of the Result should be kept safe by the Candidates for future references. The Result will decide that whether the candidates will get the admission into the University or not.
