SBI Clerk 2023 application form will be released most likely in the 3rd week of April 2023 for the recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Two stages of exam, preliminary and main, are conducted to shortlist the applicants for the same. SBI Clerk 2023

  1. Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no. which should be kept active till the declaration of results.
  2. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one state only and should be familiar with the local language of the state for which a test will also be held.
  3. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer/ Inter State Transfer for Junior Associates to be recruited.
  4. The facility of scribe would be allowed to a person who has disability of 40% or more in a way that it affects their writing, if so desired.
  5. SBI may arrange pre-examination training at certain centers for SC/ ST/ XS/ Religious Minority Community candidates.
  6. The newly appointed Junior Associates will be on probation for a minimum period of 6 months.

Nationality:

Candidates of Indian nationality can apply for the exam.

Age Limit (As on 1st April 2023):

The age of the candidate should not be below 20 years and above 28 years as on 1st April 2023.

Educational qualification:

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification is required.
  • Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.08.2023.

SBI Clerk 2023 Application Form

  1. Candidates hoping to appear for the Clerical exam need to apply for the same by visiting the official website www.bank.sbi/careers or www.sbi.co.in/careers.
  2. In the application form, the candidates will have to provide their basic personal and academic details.
  3. Scanned copies of candidates’ photograph and signature should also be uploaded into the application form.
  4. A choice of language for local language test and for center of exam should be provided in the form as well.
  5. Upon providing all the details accurately into the application form, it can be submitted online.
  6. Along with the form, the candidates will also have to make submission of a prescribed amount of application fee.
  7. The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/ net banking by providing information as asked on the screen.
  8. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated which should be printed for record.

  • For General/ OBC/ EWS candidates: Rs. 750/-

SBI Clerk 2023 Admit Card

  • The candidates should download their pre exam call letter and an “acquaint yourself booklet” by entering their registration number and password/ date of birth.
  • It is mandatory to appear for the exam along with the admit card and a valid identity proof.
  • The identity proof should be carried in original as well as self-attested photocopy.
  • For main exam, the admit card is released separately for those who clear the pre exam successfully.

SBI Clerk 2023 Result

  • The result of the SBI clerk exam will be announced in online mode on the official website of the bank.
  • Candidates can check the result using their registration number or other details as applicable.
  • Results will be declared separately for the preliminary and main exam and those who clear both the exams will only be considered for further process of recruitment.
  • However, the marks obtained in the preliminary exam will not be added for the selection and only the aggregate marks obtained in main exam will be considered for preparation of the final merit list

  1. Is there any way I can obtain application form and/ or admit card offline?

No. the application form, admit card, etc related to the SBI Clerk exam will only be made available on the bank’s website.

  1. What can I do if I accidently submitted more than one application form?

It is advised to submit only a single application form for the exam. However, in case you submitted the form more than once, the last submitted one will be counted as valid. Application fee submitted for the earlier form will not be reversed.

  1. Can you tell me the age criteria for appearing in the SBI Clerk exam 2023?

The candidates who are born not earlier than 02.04.1993 and not later than 01.04.2001 (both days inclusive) are eligible to appear.

  1. I haven’t completed my graduation yet. Can I still apply for SBI Clerk exam?

Those in the final year/ semester of their graduation can also apply subject to the condition that they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31st August of the year of the exam.

  1. What are the documents I can carry as an identity proof?

The candidates can bring passport/ Aadhar/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with duly attested Photograph/ Identity Card issued by School or College/Gazetted Officer in the official letter head.

  1. What does local language test in SBI Clerk exam means?

A test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. It will be conducted after qualifying the online main examination but before joining the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate as a proof of having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
