SAAT 2022 will be conducted by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University for granting admission to the students in various UG and PG courses. These courses include B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral entry), BBA, BCA, BHMCT, B.Pharm, BA LLB/BBA LLB, M.Tech, LLM, MBA, MCA, M.Pharm, MHM etc. To be eligible for admission, candidates need to apply for the entrance exam as per the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority.
Candidates need to study really well for the exam as they will be granted admission solely on the basis of marks secured in the exam. Therefore, they should aim to achieve good marks in the exam. Medical and Dental aspirants will be given admission based on the NEET score. However, B.Tech aspirants can also apply for admission through the JEE Main score apart from the SAAT score. Eligibility Criteria for SAAT 2022
Before thinking of applying for the exam, candidates should check if they are eligible to take the exam or not. This can be done with the help of the eligibility criteria set by the university that is mandatory for the applicants to satisfy-
Undergraduate Programs
B.Tech: Applicants should have qualified class 12th or equivalent exam with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the subjects Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Informatics/ Statistics/ Technical Vocational and have obtained minimum 45% marks.
B.Pharm: Applicants should have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology or its equivalent from a recognized board/university.
BHMCT: Applicants should have passed class 12th in any stream with minimum 45% aggregate marks.
BBA: An applicant should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university.
BA LLB/BBA LLB: An applicant must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university securing minimum 45% marks.
Postgraduate Programs
M.Tech: A Candidate should hold a valid bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline of engineering with 50% marks (45% for reserved category). M.Sc degree holders can apply but only to some selected branches.
MBA/MHM/MHA: Applicants should have passed the bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category).
M.Pharm: Applicants must have done B.Pharma with at least 55% marks.
LLM: Candidates should have studied law or integrated law courses or its equivalent from a recognized university. Those appearing in the final year of law course can also apply.
SAAT 2022 Application Form
Candidates can apply for the entrance exam by filling the application form available on the official website. To fill out the form, they must register themselves first and then proceed further. The details asked in the application form must be specified correctly. Proper attention should be given while entering the information in the form as no editing request will be entertained by the authority once the form is submitted.
Applicants should also keep their scanned images (photograph and signature) handy which they will need to upload in the form while applying. After verifying the details in the form, candidates can proceed towards the final submission of the form. Applicants need not pay any application fee for participating in the entrance exam. They should take the printout of the completed application form for future references.
SAAT 2022 Exam Pattern
Candidates can make an effective strategy to crack the exam with the help of the exam pattern specified by the authority, which is as follows-

However, on a general note, candidates seeking admission in UG programs need to prepare for the exam as per the curriculum prescribed for class 11th and class 12th respectively. Those wishing to enroll in PG program need to prepare as per the concerned graduation level in the course they desire admission into.
Preparation Tips for SAAT 2022
Candidates looking forward to admission in the programs offered by the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University must fetch good marks in the SAAT 2022 exam. Here are some tips through which they can score well in the exam-
- First of all, go through the syllabus prescribed for the entrance exam to have an idea of the topics to be prepared.
- Candidates who want to get admission in UG program should begin their preparation with the NCERTs first.
- It is important to solve practice papers on a daily basis to have an idea about the areas you need improvement in.
- Make a habit of preparing shot notes which will reduce your time for revision.
- Do not neglect your health and go outside or do anything you like whenever you feel tired of studying.
- Devote at least 6 hours for studies.
- Avoid distraction during preparation such as mobile phone, TV, Relatives etc and study wholeheartedly.
SAAT 2022 Admit Card
The admit card for the entrance test will only be issued to those applicants who have submitted the online application form on time. Applicants can download their hall ticket from the official website in the 3rd week of April. Candidates should carefully check the particulars printed on their admit card i.e. applicant’s name, programme, photograph, subject, address, exam center address, test schedule etc. In case of discrepancy in the hall ticket, the situation must be communicated to the authority immediately.
It is compulsory for the applicants to bring the admit card at the exam center, failing which, they won’t be permitted to take the admission test in the relevant programmes.
SAAT 2022 Result and Counselling
The result of the SAAT 2022 examination will be announced on the official website of the university. Based on the marks scored by the applicants in the test, a merit list will be prepared for each course. The qualified candidates will be provided a rank card and further be called for the counselling process. During the counselling, they will be asked to indicate their preferred choice of branch, and institute. The authority will then allot a seat to them according to their merit rank and the availability of seats. Finally, the candidates need to report to the allotted institute to finish the admission related formalities.
