RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 is the Admission Process for the M. Tech admission conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. The entrance exam is conducted by the Institution for the candidates who want to take the admission and who will apply for the admission in the Institution.
Candidates having the GATE score or who will qualify the entrance test or interview conducted by the Institution will be eligible to apply for the admission. The Application Form of the Institution will be available soon. Study all the details regarding the admission process in the below post.

RGIPT M. Tech 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The norms of the eligibility for the admissions will be decided by the Institution for the candidates and candidates should check and follow it completely to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam. The detail of the Eligibility Criteria is:
- For the admission in the stream of Petroleum Engineering, Candidates must have passed the B.E/B. Tech in Petroleum, Chemical, Petrochemical, Mechanical and Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering with the minimum 60% marks for the General Category Candidates and 55% for the SC/ST Category candidates.
- For the admission in the stream of Chemical Engineering, Candidates must have passed the B.E/B. Tech in Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering with the minimum of 60% marks for the General Category Candidates and 55% Category Candidates.
- Candidates having the GATE Score will be directly able to apply for the admission into the Institution.
RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 Exam Pattern
The Exam Pattern of RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 is the structure of the exam decided by the Institution so that candidates can prepare for it. The detail of the Exam Pattern is as follows:
- The Medium of the Exam will be English.
- The Mode of the entrance exam will be Online.
- The Structure of the exam will be similar to the GATE exam.
- Similar to the GATE exam, this exam will also have the Negative Marking.
- There will be Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions in the exam.
RGIPT M. Tech 2023 Application Form
The Application Form of RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 will be available in the Online Mode when it will be officially released by the Institution. The Submission of the Application Form Fee will be done in Online as well as Offline Mode. The detail of the Application Form is as follows:
- Candidates will be able to access the Application Form from the Official website of the Institution i.e. rgipt.ac.in and the link will also be hosted here.
- Search for the link of the Online Registration on the home page of the website and complete the Online Registration before filling the Application Form.
- Login with the Credentials provided and fill the required details in the Application Form i.e. Personal, Qualification and other important details.
- Upload the scanned copy of the current passport sized photograph of size maximum 50 kb and scanned copy of the signature of size 20 kb.
- Do the payment of the Application Form Fee either in the Online Mode via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking of SBI or Offline Mode via Demand Draft.
- In the Offline Payment mode, Candidate should send the hard copy of the filled application form along with the Demand Draft and required documents at the following address:

RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 Admit Card
The Admit Card of RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 will be available when the candidates will complete the Online Form filling process. The Institution will release the Admit Card before the date of the entrance exam so that the candidates can easily download it into the Online Mode.
Candidates should carry the Admit Card while appearing in the Entrance Exam Hall as it will contain the information regarding Date, Venue and time of the exam and other important information about the candidates. Any of the candidates without having the Admit Card will not be allowed in the entrance exam.
RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 Result
The Result of RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 will be officially released only for the candidates who will attempt the entrance exam. The Performance of the Candidates in the entrance exam will affect the calculation of the Result. The Institution will release the Result in the Online Mode only.
Candidates should fill the Registration Number and Date of Birth as the password for checking the Result. The Update will be available here when the Result will be officially declared by the Institution.
RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 Cutoff
The Cutoff of RGIPT M. Tech Admission 2023 will be available after the entrance exam. The Institution will declare the separate cutoff list for the both i.e. who have the GATE exam score and others who have attempted the entrance examination conducted by the Institution.
The Cutoff will be available in the Online Mode and candidates should check it to get the idea about their admission into the Institution. Previous year cutoff will be proved as the deciding factor for the candidates.
