REAP 2022: Eligibility Criteria, Dates, Application Form

Candidates aspiring for admission in B.E/B. Tech programs offered by the colleges under Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) must apply for the REAP 2022, an admission process to mark the entry in different disciplines of engineering. The selection of a candidate for admission will be done based on the marks secured by him/her in JEE Main exam and percentage of marks obtained in class 12th. Candidates should not confuse the REAP 2022 with the entrance exam as it is just the admission process for selecting candidates in the given first-year courses of engineering. Important Dates for REAP 2022

The tentative dates for the REAP 2022 are as follows-

REAP 2022 Application Form

The application form for REAP will only be accepted via online mode. To fill the online application form, candidates need to visit the official website of the RTU or the websites suggested by the University. Candidates should read the instructions on the screen carefully before filling the form. They should also keep the scanned photograph and signature and other relevant documents handy.

After completing the application form, applicants will have to fill in college choice form to indicate the college they want to pursue engineering from. The form should be printed out and a few copies of the same should be kept safe for future reference. Multiple applications will be rejected and applicants need not send the hard copy of the form to the authorities.

Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay Rs. 700/- as the application fee for the admission process. The stated fee can be paid via E-Mitra Kiosk or through credit card/debit card/net banking.

Eligibility Criteria for REAP 2022

Don’t forget to read the following criteria before you apply for REAP 2022:

Nationality and Domicile: Only Indian Nationals can apply for the admission. Both the candidates i.e. those from outside Rajasthan and those who are domiciles of Rajasthan can participate in the admission process.

Age Criteria: The date of birth of the candidates should fall on or after 1st October 1996. Age relaxation is applicable for those belonging to the reserved category.

Qualifying Examination (Q.E): Applicants must have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects and any one of the subjects Biology/Chemistry/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational as an optional subject. Those appearing in class 12th can also apply.

Percentage Required: Candidates should have passed the Q.E by securing at least 45% aggregate marks (40% marks for the reserved category candidates of Rajasthan state) in the subject combination given above.

REAP 2022 Result and Counselling

Result: While declaring the result, the first priority for admission will be given to the JEE Main rank holders and second priority will be given to the students on the basis of the marks secured by them in class 12th. Candidates can check the result from the official website of the RTU.

Counseling: The counselling will be held in three rounds followed by one special round in the month of August 2020. Candidates from outside Rajasthan will be allotted a seat as per the merit list in the first round of counselling. The second round will be conducted for Rajasthan domicile candidates where a seat will be given to them on the basis of the merit list. The third round is called the upward movement round where candidates belonging to Rajasthan who either have exhausted their choice in round two or have opted for upward movement will be allotted a seat. Those from outside Rajasthan cannot go for the third round of counselling.
