NATA Eligibility Criteria: The Council of Architecture (COA) has decided some eligibility norms and conditions for NATA that candidate have to satisfy in order to be eligible to apply for the exam. The NATA Eligibility criteria will specify the conditions related qualifying exam, age limit, and minimum percentile. All the aspirants who are planning to appear in NATA should check whether they are eligible for the exam or not. NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is a national level entrance test organized by Council of Architecture for admission to 5-year B.Arch course at all recognized engineering colleges/institutes in India. NATA exam for the year 2022 will be held in online mode probably in the month of April 2022. NATA Eligibility Criteria

It is must for all candidates to check the eligibility criteria of NATA before filling up the application form. Those who satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria will be able to participate in NATA entrance exam based on which admission is done. If a candidate fails to satisfy any of the eligibility conditions, then he/she will not be considered eligible to appear in the exam or admission process. Age criteria

As for age limit, the examination can be attempted by candidates of all age group because there is no provision of age bar. However, particular counselling and admission authorities may have decided their individual age limit that applicant has to fulfill for admission.

Note: There is no relaxation in eligibility criteria for reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC).

Please note that the NATA score will be considered only for admission to B.Arch. course in the academic session 2022-23.

Important points regarding NATA Exam Eligibility criteria

  • It should be noted that there is no any lateral admission condition for admission in any stage/year of B.Arch. course.
  • There is no upper and lower age limit for appearing in NATA.
  • Candidates should note that qualifying NATA does not promise a candidate admission to any Architecture course unless the given eligibility criteria as specified by various admission authorities are completely satisfied.
