MU OET Exam Pattern 2022: Manipal University will organize MU OET (Manipal University Online Entrance Test) for admission to various UG & PG courses in the university. The exam will be held separately on different dates for all the courses offered by Manipal University. Candidates who are seeking UG, PG admission in the area of Engineering, Applied Sciences, Pharmacy, and many other courses offered by the university & its constituent institutions need to appear in MU OET. The examination will be organized in online mode only for all the courses. It should be noted that the exam pattern of MU OET will vary course wise. So, candidates are suggested to check the examination pattern carefully before starting their preparation. MU OET Exam Pattern
As we already said the MU OET will be conducted for various UG & PG courses admission and hence the examination scheme will also be different for all courses. Candidates can check the MU OET exam pattern for different programmes below:
For B.Tech/B.Pharm/PharmD:
- The exam will be organized through online mode.
- The paper will comprise of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ).
- There will be two groups in the paper i.e. Group 1 for B.Pharm/PharmD courses & Group 2 for B.Pharm/ B.Tech/Pharm D courses
- The language of the exam is English only.
- Questions are divided into 4 subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English & General Aptitude.
- The duration of exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
- For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded to the candidate.
- There will be no provision for negative marking.
- A total of 200 questions will be asked in the MU OET exam. The distribution of questions along with subjects is tabled below:

For B.Tech (Lateral Entry):
- The exam will be organized in online mode.
- The duration of exam will be one hour.
- Exam will consist of Multiple Choice type question (MCQ).
- Each correct answer will carry one mark.
- There will be no negative marking in the exam

For M.Tech/MCA:
- The exam will be conducted in online mode.
- The duration given to the exam will be about 1 hour & 30 minutes.
- The paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- For M.Tech, total 60 questions will be asked while question paper for MCA will consist of total 100 questions in the exam.
- +4 marks will be given to the candidates for each right answer.
- For each wrong answer, one mark will be deducted.

- Questions will be asked from various branches of social work such as basic social work concepts, dynamics of human behavior, working with individuals and groups, women welfare, family & child welfare, community welfare, Industrial Psychology, Psychiatric social work, Statistics & Research Methodology.
For MPT
- The exam will consist of one single paper of 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ)
- The duration of exam will be 2 hours.
