MU OET 2020: Application Form, Pattern, Eligibility, Syllabus

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education will be organizing the MU OET 2020 to screen the candidates for admissions into various degree programmes offered by it. Enrolment will be offered into the field of engineering, pharmacy, nursing and other courses. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam by submitting their application form in online mode. The entrance exams will also be conducted in online mode as per their specified schedule. MU OET Exam Pattern 2020

The exam pattern will be different for different exams conducted under MU OET 2020. The basic exam pattern for certain courses is provided below:

For B.Tech/ B.Pharma/ Pharm.D:

  • Mode of exam: Online
  • Duration of exam: 2 hours 30 minutes
  • Total number of questions: 200
  • Type of questions: Objective type

MU OET 2020 Syllabus

The syllabus will be different for different exams. Basically, the syllabus for the entrance test will be based on the curriculum of the qualifying exam. The candidates preparing for UG entrance exam must refer to their class 11th and 12th syllabus and those preparing for PG entrance exam should refer to their bachelor’s degree curriculum.

Preparation Tricks

The candidates preparing for MU OET 2020 can follow these basic strategies in order to score well in the exam:

  • First, know your syllabus and then collect all the relevant study material at one place.
  • Start learning from the basics and after you create a solid foundation, move on to the complex topics.
  • After you cover your whole syllabus, start practicing. You may follow the previous years’ sample papers for practice purpose.
  • Do not forget to revise the topics on a regular basis.
  • Never panic during your exam preparation. Stay calm and always study with free mind.

MU OET 2020 Application Form

The MU OET application form 2020 will be released in online mode on the official website of the university. The candidates will have to provide their basic personal, academic, contact and other important details asked in the application form. Scanned copies of candidates’ signature and photograph will also be uploaded in the application form. After providing all the necessary information into the form, the candidates should submit it along with the prescribed fee on or before the last date. The applicants must also take a printout of the duly filled application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application Fee

The total application fee will be Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 600/- as registration fee and Rs. 1400/- as exam fee). The payment of the application fee can be done either through demand draft or through credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

MU OET Eligibility Criteria 2020

The below-mentioned eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates who wish to appear for the MU OET 2020:

  • For B.Tech: The candidate should have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics, Physics, English and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ technical vocational subject and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
  • For M.Tech: The applicants should have done BE/ B.Tech or any other equivalent degree with at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
  • For BBA: The candidates who have cleared the class 12th or an equivalent exam from a recognized board and have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate are eligible.

MU OET 2020 Admit Card

The candidates after filling their application form will have to book the exam slot for the online test. The candidates who successfully book the examination slot will be able to download their admit card from the official website. The candidate must take a printout of the MU OET admit card 2020 and carry it to the exam center. Admit card is a very important document that must be preserved till the whole process of admission is over.

MU OET Result 2020

After the successful commencement of the entrance test, the MU OET 2020 result will be declared. The result will be announced in online mode and the candidates will be able to check their result using their roll number. The result for different course for which entrance exam is conducted will be declared on their specified date.

MU OET 2020 Counselling

On the basis of the marks scored by the applicants in their entrance exam, a merit list will be prepared. The shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the counseling process as per their names in the merit list. At the time of counseling, the candidates will be allowed to make choice for the course specialization in which they seek admission. The original certificates of the candidates will also be verified during the counseling.
