MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Main Highlights

  • Candidates who wish to get enrolled in the English Medium Colleges are required to appear for English Language Content Test (ELCT).
  • The candidates will have to opt for ELCT while filling their online application form.
  • Copies of the CET application form, fee receipt and admit card will be required at the time of admission and therefore should be kept safe.
  • Candidates who are born in Maharashtra or domiciled in Maharashtra and have graduated from the University within the State will be considered as Maharashtra State Candidate.
  • Those claiming to have domicile of Maharashtra state need to show their domicile certificate and those claiming to born in the state need to show their birth certificate mentioning the place of birth.

The details of the eligibility criteria for MAH B.Ed CET 2023 are given below:

Nationality:

  • The candidate should be an Indian Citizen.

Age limit:

  • There is no upper age limit to appear for the entrance test.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree And/ Or Master’s Degree in Sciences and Mathematics, Social Science, Humanity Sciences (Language and Literature) and Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates of Maharashtra state) is required.

Maharashtra State Candidature:

  • Maharashtra State candidature Type A: Candidates who are Domicile of Maharashtra or born in Maharashtra fall under this category.
  • Maharashtra State Candidature Type B: The applicants whose father or mother or both have a domicile certificate of Maharashtra and do not fall under type B are considered under this category.
  • Maharashtra State Candidature Type C: If the father or mother or both of the candidate is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking who is posted and reported to duty in the Maharashtra State (before the last date for submitting the application form), the candidate falls under this category provided he/she has completed SSC & HSC from the state only.
  • Maharashtra State Candidature Type D: If the father or mother or both of the candidate is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking, the candidate falls under this category provided he/she has completed his/her bachelor’s/ master’s degree from the state.
  • Maharashtra State Candidature Type E: Applicants passing bachelor’s/ master’s degree from a recognized institution from a disputed Maharashtra-Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi falls under this category.

Note:

  • The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination in the year 2020 are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates belonging to Non-Resident Indian, Person of Indian Origin, Overseas Citizen of India and Foreign National Students, Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries must have secured minimum 55% marks in qualifying exam from a recognized Foreign University.

MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Application Form

  • The application form for MAH B.Ed CET 2023 will be released in online mode.
  • Candidates can obtain the application form by visiting the official website www.mahacet.org.
  • Candidates will be asked to provide the personal details, academic details, etc into the application form.
  • Photograph and signature of the candidates in scanned format should also be uploaded into the form.
  • After providing all the details in the application form, the candidates can submit it online.
  • Along with the application form, the candidates will also have to pay a required amount of application fee.
  • Once the application form and fee is submitted, the candidates should take its printout and keep it safe for future reference.

MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Syllabus

Below given is the syllabus for the Common Entrance Test for MAH B.Ed:

  • Mental Ability: Questions based on Relationship, Analogies, Series, Classification, Syllogism, Coding-Decoding, Problems on Dice, etc., either in Verbal or Non-Verbal form
  • General Knowledge: Local, National, International Knowledge including Past Events, Current Affairs, Science and Technology, Civics, Political Science, History, Geography and Literature

MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Admit Card

  • The admit card to appear in the entrance test will be made available on the official website few days before the exam.
  • Intimations for downloading the admit card will also be sent through email or SMS.
  • Using their registration number and date of birth, the candidates will be able to download their admit card.
  • A hard copy of the admit card should be taken out and carried to the exam center on the day of exam along with a photo identity proof.
  • The candidates need to affix recent photograph on the admit card, preferably the same provided during registration.
  • It is suggested to keep the admit card in good condition or it might not be considered as a valid one.

MAH B.Ed CET 2023 Result & Admission

  • The entrance exam result will be declared on the official website hopefully in the month of June 2023.
  • Candidates who clear the test will be allotted seats as per their choice and their ranking.
