KEE Syllabus- Check Your Prescribed Syllabus Here

Candidates wishing to appear for the entrance exam conducted by Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences must prepare for the same as per the KEE Syllabus prescribed by the Institute. Since the admission will be given solely on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam, therefore, students must prepare for the exam accordingly. The syllabus of KEE exam will typically be based on the level of class 11th and class 12th. The subjects that the candidates need to study for the exam are Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology.

KEE Syllabus

Candidates should prepare for the exam keeping in mind the KEE Syllabus and KEE exam pattern specified by the authority to score good marks in the exam. The exam will be conducted in online mode where a computer system will be allotted to a candidate to mark the answer to the questions displayed on their screen. Candidates will be given 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the exam. Marking a wrong answer will result in penalty and therefore candidates should carefully mark the answers. Here are the topics under the syllabus that the students must go through at least twice before they head to the exam.

Physics

Effects of Electric Current, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Waves and Wave Optics, Atomic Physics, Current Electricity, Nuclear Physics, Electrostatic, Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter-Relativity, Communication Systems, Nuclear Physics, Semiconductor Devices, and their Applications.

Chemistry

Biomolecules – Carbohydrates and Amino Acids, Carboxylic Acids and their derivatives, P, D and F- Block Elements, Coordination Chemistry and Solid State Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Atomic Structure, Carbonyl Compounds, Amino Acids, Isomerism in Organic Compounds Alcohols and Ethers,  Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium and Chemical Kinetics, Organic Nitrogen Compounds, Alcohol and Ethers.

Mathematics

Analytical geometry of two dimensions, Discrete Mathematics, Integral Calculus, and its applications, Vector Algebra, Differential Calculus, Probability Distributions, Complex numbers, Applications of Matrices and Determinants,  Discrete Mathematics, Groups, Integral Calculus, and its Applications, Differential Equations.

Biology

Cell Biology and Genetics, Biology in Human Welfare, Biotechnology, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Modern Genetics, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Immunity, Applied Biology, Theories, and Evolution.

Preparation tips to score good marks in the KEE exam

  • Candidates should strictly prepare according to the KEE Syllabus specified by the authority.
  • They should practice mock papers and previous year papers to get an idea of the exam.
  • They should revise each topic at least twice after finishing the same.
  • Students should not neglect their health and consume a balanced diet. They shouldn’t skip the meals just for the sake of exams.
  • It is common for the students to get distracted during the studies but they should make an effort to stay away from distractions like mobile phone, FB, Instagram etc.
  • Keep a separate notebook for important formulas.
