Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will be conducting the IPU CET 2022 granting admission to students in various UG and PG programs offered by it. Through the entrance test, candidates can enroll themselves in the UG and PG courses such as B.Tech/M.Tech, BA/MA, BBA/BCA, MBA, LLB/LLM etc. Candidates can apply for the exam through the official website of the university.
The exam will be conducted in computer based mode. The level of competition is going to be tough this year as lakhs of students are expected to apply for it. Therefore, candidates should score well in the exam. The admission through IPU CET 2022 will be based on the performance given by a candidate in the entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET 2022
Candidates seeking admission in courses provided by IPU must satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority. Here we’re providing the program-wise general eligibility condition–
For Undergraduate programs (UG)
Age criteria: A candidate must not be over 21 years as on 1st August 2022.

| B.Tech | Applicants should have passed class 12th with 55% marks in PCM subject group and must have passed in English. Those appearing in class 12th are also eligible. |
| BA LLB/BBA LLB | Applicants should have passed class 12th from a recognized board securing minimum 50% marks along with a pass in English. |
| B.Tech (Lateral Entry) | Candidates should hold a diploma (3 years) or a B.Sc degree with mathematics as a compulsory subject and have secured at least 60% marks. |
| LLB | Graduation with minimum 50% marks is required |
| BBA | Applicants should have passed class 12th with English as compulsory subject securing minimum 50% marks. |
| BCA | Candidates should have passed class 12th or its equivalent securing minimum 50% marks with pass in English and Mathematics or Computer Science / Informatics Practice / Computer Applications / Multimedia & Web Technology / Data Management Application / Web Application as compulsory subject of non-vocational stream.
OR Three-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks. |

For Postgraduate programs (PG)
Age Criteria: Candidates must not be over 35 year as on 1st August 2022.

| MBA & Allied Programs | Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (of duration 3 years or more) with 50% aggregate marks |
IPU CET 2022 Application Form
Candidates can apply for the exam only via online mode by visiting the official website of the university. The following details will be asked in the application form – Personal information (Exam category, Applicant’s name, DOB, Category, Gender, Religion etc), Contact Details, Mailing address, Educational Qualification, Work Experience (if any) etc. Candidates need to upload the scanned copy of the photograph, left-hand thumb impression and signature in the form. The size of the scanned images should not exceed 80 KB and should be in JPEG/JPG format.
A candidate can apply for one category at a time. Candidate should fill the form very carefully as no editing facility will be given once it is submitted. Applicants must pay the required amount of the application fee for the exam failing which their applications will be rejected by the authority.
Application Fee
Candidates must pay the application fee of Rs. 1000/- via any of the modes i.e. credit card/debit card/net banking.
IPU CET 2022 Exam Pattern
Candidates can note down the exam pattern for the common entrance exam for their reference-
- Exam Mode: Computer based mode
- Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
- Language: English (except for B.Ed, which will be conducted in both English and Hindi)
- Type of Questions: Objective type (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for the correct answer
- Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect answer
Syllabus
The syllabus for UG programs will be based on the curriculum prescribed for class 11th and class 12th. Those interested in pursuing a PG program need to study as per the graduation level syllabus of that particular programme.
Preparation Tips for IPU CET 2022
Here are some important tips that will help the candidate fetch good marks in the entrance exam-
- First and foremost, go through the entire syllabus and sort out the topics as per the weak and strong ones.
- Special attention should be given to the topics you need improvement in.
- Make a practical timetable and follow it religiously.
- Take short breaks in between studies to freshen up the mind.
- Solve mock tests to improve your performance and accuracy.
- Don’t read a new topic on the day of the exam or a day prior to that.
- Do not forget to revise the topics.
IPU CET 2022 Admit Card
The admit card can be downloaded from the official website. Candidates need to take the printout of the hall ticket and must carry a minimum 2 copies of the same at the exam center. They also should possess a valid ID proof while entering the exam hall or else they won’t be granted the permission to appear in the exam. The admit card shouldn’t be damaged or mutilated which will render it invalid.
Result and Counselling
Candidates can check the result of the IPU CET 2022 on its official website. To see the score obtained in the exam, candidates need to login into the web portal. A merit list will be announced by the authority according to which the candidates shortlisted will be called for the counselling. The counselling will be conducted in online and offline mode depending on the course opted by a candidate. During the counselling, a seat will be allotted to the candidates as per the merit rank and the choice of the course opted by them.
