IBPS PO 2023: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts online exam to shortlist the candidates for the post of Probationary Officer (PO) in the participating organizations. Preliminary exam, main exam and interviews are conducted to shortlist the candidates for allotment. The application forms for IBPS PO 2023 can be submitted through online mode. The preliminary and main exams will also be conducted in online mode in the month of September and November respectively.

IBPS PO 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Basic eligibility criteria to appear for IBPS PO 2023 have been discussed below.

Nationality:

A candidate must be either a

  • Citizen of India or
  • Subject of Nepal or
  • Subject of Bhutan or
  • Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
  • Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Age criteria:

The minimum and maximum age of the candidates should be between 20 and 30 years as on 1st August 2020.

Educational qualification:

A degree (graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government is required.

IBPS PO 2023 Application Form

The application form for IBPS PO 2023 exam will be released on the official website www.ibps.in. Candidates who meet the eligibility requirements can proceed with the submission of application.

  1. To fill the application form, the candidates will have to provide their personal, academic, contact and other details as asked.
  2. Photograph and signature of the applicants in scanned format should be uploaded into the form as well.
  3. After providing all the important details into the application form, it can be submitted online on or before the last date.
  4. To complete the process of application, the candidates will also have to pay a requisite amount as application fee.
  5. A copy of the duly filled application form and fee receipt should be taken and kept safe for future reference.

  • Rs. 600/- for other candidates

IBPS PO 2023 Admit Card

  • Candidates can download the admit card to appear in the IBPS PO exam from the official website.
  • Admit card for the preliminary exam is released for those who submit their applications successfully.
  • For main exam, the admit card is released only for the candidates who clear the preliminary exam successfully.
  • The admit card and a valid identity proof (original & photocopy) must be carried by the students reporting at the exam center.

Interview:

  • An Interview of the shortlisted candidates will be conducted by the Participating Organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS.
  • Interviews will be conducted at selected centers and the address of the venue, time & date of interview will be informed in the call letter.
  • The total marks allotted for interview are 100.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWBD candidates).
  • The weightage of main exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively. The combined final score of candidates will be calculated on the basis of scores obtained in the Main exam and interview.

IBPS PO 2023 Result

  • The result of the IBPS PO preliminary and main exam will be tentatively released in the month of October and December 2020.
  • After clearing both these exams, the candidates will have to appear for the interview round.
  • Result of the interview is expected to be declared in the month of April 2023 after which provisional allotment will begin.
  • To check the result of the different rounds, the candidates will have to visit the official website of IBPS.
