IBPS Clerk 2022 recruitment process will be organized to select the candidates for the post of Clerk or a similar post in that cadre. Selected candidates will be offered these posts in the different participating organizations. Two exams, preliminary and main, will be conducted by the IBPS for selecting the candidates for recruitment. IBPS Clerk 2022 Important Highlights
- Recruitment of the candidates will be done on State/ UT-wise basis and therefore candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only.
- Proficiency in official language of the State/ UT in which the candidate is applying is required.
- Separate time will be allotted for completing a particular section in the online exams and the candidates are advised to carefully stick to it.
- Candidates will have to undergo biometric verification at the time of main exam and joining. Refusal to participate in verification process will lead to cancellation of candidature.
- Only the marks obtained by the candidates in their main exam will be considered for preparing final merit list.
- Issuance of offer of appointment including terms and conditions, formalities for verification, joining etc. will solely be the decision of the Participating Organizations.

The following candidates are eligible to apply:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling
- Person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Academic qualification:
- A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent is required.
- The candidates must have acquired this degree on or before the day they register online.
IBPS Clerk 2022 Application Form
Candidates will be able to apply online for IBPS Clerk 2022. Application form for the same will be released on the official website of IBPS. The candidates who fulfill all the eligibility requirements can fill and submit their form.
- The link to apply for IBPS Clerk will be available on the official website www.ibps.in.
- By providing their basic personal details, the candidates can register themselves and generate provisional registration number and password.
- Using these credentials, the candidates can login further to fill the rest details into the application form.
- Candidates’ photograph, signature, and left thumb impression in scanned format need to be uploaded in the application form.
- After providing all the information in the application form, the candidates can submit it with the prescribed application fee.
Application fee:
- The candidates will be able to pay the application fee using their credit card, debit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards and mobile wallets.
- Application fee will be Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates and Rs. 600/- for rest others.

IBPS Clerk 2022 Admit Card
- The admit card for both preliminary and main exam will be released online as per the given schedule.
- An intimation regarding the call letter may also be send to the candidates on their registered email id and phone number.
- Candidates can download the admit card using the details of their registration number and date of birth.
- Admit card and a photocopy of a valid identity proof should be carried by the candidates to the exam center.
- The candidates are suggested to keep multiple copies of admit card to protect it from loss or damage.
IBPS Clerk 2022 Result
- At first, the result of the preliminary exam will be declared.
- Those who clear the preliminary exam will then be allowed to appear for the main exam.
- Candidates who qualify the main exam will then be considered for provisional allotment.
- To qualify the main exam, the candidates will have to obtain a minimum score in each test and also an overall total exam.
- The provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for participating organization and verification of their identity.
- Allotment will be done on the merit-cum-preference basis and depending on the vacancies in the participating institute.

The candidates must produce the following documents at the time of joining:
