Galgotia Engineering Entrance Examination (GEEE 2022) will be organized by the Galgotia University for admission in various disciplines of engineering offered by it. Eligibility Criteria for GEEE 2022

The eligibility criteria for GEEE 2022 Examination is as follows-

Qualifying Examination: An applicant should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Those appearing in class 12th may also apply for the exam.

Percentage Required: An applicants should have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in PCM subject group.

GEEE 2022 Application Form

Candidates can apply for the exam only through the online mode. Students first need to register for the exam and then proceed for filling the online application form. Candidates can apply for any of the specialization in B.Tech. However, the exam pattern will remain the same for all the specializations. Applicants must have a valid email id and phone number for registering for the exam.

The form must be filled very carefully without committing a spelling mistake. They should keep the scanned copy of their signature and photograph ready to upload in the form. Applicants need not send the hardcopy of the filled-in application form to the authority. They must also pay the required amount of the application fee without which they won’t be permitted to take the exam. The payment can be made only through the online mode.

Application Fee

Applicants must pay Rs. 500/- as the application fee for the exam. The fee is non-refundable and a candidate can’t claim the reimbursement at any stage. They can pay the application fee via debit card/credit card/net banking/paytm wallet.

Syllabus

The syllabus of the GEEE 2022 will be based on the curriculum prescribed for the state board of higher secondary education and CBSE only. It will be typically based on the PCM subjects studied in class 11th and 12th respectively. Here are some key topics under the syllabus-

Chemistry:  Organic chemistry, Nomenclature, classification of elements and periodicity in properties, thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, atomic structure, etc.

Mathematics: Trigonometry, vector algebra, matrices and determinants, complex numbers and quadratic equations, limits and continuity, derivatives, integral and differential calculus, etc.

Physics: Current electricity, oscillations and waves, optics, physics and measurements, relational motion, electrostatics, etc.

A candidate should devote his/her energy to plan an effective and practical timetable so that they can follow it easily. Here are some of the useful tips for exam preparation that will help the candidate in gaining an advantage over his/her competitors-

  1. Prepare a timetable keeping in mind the time left for studies and the important topics to be studied.
  2. Go through the complete syllabus.
  3. Solve previous year papers regularly to increase your performance.
  4. Keep the important formulas and shortcuts in a separate book.
  5. Revise the topics daily to jot it down the memory.
  6. Maintain your healthy by consuming a balanced diet.

GEEE 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for GEEE will be made available on the official website. Candidates can download the same using their application number and date of birth. They must take the printout of the hall ticket and bring it to the exam center. The authority will not send the physical admit card to the candidates individually or otherwise. Applicants also should carry a valid ID proof to the exam center for verification. The admit card shall be preserved till the admission is done.

Result and Counselling

The result of the GEEE 2022 Exam will be announced on the official website. Applicants need to login into the website to check their result. The authority usually declares the result within a week after the exam is over. The authority will announce the merit list based on the performance of the candidates in the exam. The selected candidates will undergo the counselling where their documents will be verified and they need to choose their preferred choice of branch. A seat will be allotted to them as per their merit rank, choice preferred and the number of availability of seats.
