Delhi Polytechnic syllabus

CET Test-1 Syllabus

The test-1 will be conducted for class 10^th based diploma courses in engineering & non-engineering. The questions will be asked from the subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English as per the syllabus notified by the CBSE for class 9^th and 10^th respectively. The question paper will carry a total of 150 questions.

CET Test-2 Syllabus

This test will be conducted for modern office practice (English) and the paper will comprise of questions from the English (Grammar and comprehension) as per the CBSE syllabus for class 12^th. There will be a separate section for General knowledge and logical & analytical ability respectively. The total number of questions asked in the exam will be 150.

CET Test-3 Syllabus

Test-3 will be conducted for modern office practice (Hindi) and the paper will include questions from subject of Hindi (Grammar and Comprehension) as per the CBSE syllabus for class 12^th. Apart from this, there will be two more section in the paper i.e. General knowledge and logical and analytical ability. There will be a total of 150 questions asked in the paper.

CET Test-4 Syllabus

Candidates who want to pursue a diploma in pharmacy will need to give test-4. The syllabus will comprise of compulsory subjects like Physics and Chemistry and one of the Biology or Mathematics as per the level of class 11^th and class 12^th respectively. The total number of questions asked in the paper will be 210 questions.

CET Test-5 Syllabus

Test-5 will be conducted for lateral entry admission into diploma courses. The syllabus will be based on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and English for class 10^th as prescribed by the CBSE. There will be another section of General aptitude that candidates need to prepare for. A total of 150 questions will be asked in the examination.

Delhi Polytechnic Exam pattern

Candidates can refer the following exam pattern for admission into various diploma programs offered by different institutes in Delhi.

• Exam Type: Offline (OMR Sheet based)
• Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
• Type of Questions: Objective (MCQs)
• Marking scheme: each right response will fetch 4 marks.
• Negative Marking: each wrong response will result in the deduction of 1 mark.
• Extra time for PWD candidates: 50 Minutes extra will be given
• Exam Medium:

For Tets-1, 4, and 5: English and Hindi (Bilingual)

For Test-2: English

For Test-3: Hindi

• Total Questions: 600

Note: In pharmacy, candidates will only need to attempt 150 questions out of 210. However, they need to attempt 60 questions from either Mathematics or Biology.
