DASA UG 2021: The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA- UG) is a scheme through which Non-Resident Indian (NRIs), foreign nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) can get admissions to undergraduate courses in the various institutes. Through DASA UG, eligible candidates can pursue 4- year Engineering & Architecture degree programmes from NITs, IIITs, SPAs and Other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutes (CFPTIs). The admission will be done on the basis of SAT scores. Interested and eligible candidates who are willing to apply DASA UG 2021 Admission must submit their application before the due date. Eligibility criteria

Candidates must satisfy the necessary eligibility criteria before filling the application form. The details regarding DASA UG Eligibility criteria 2021 are mentioned below:

Age limit: Applicants who born on or after October 01, 1996 are eligible to apply.

Nationality: Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Foreign Nationals/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are eligible to apply.

Educational qualification:

  • Aspirants should have done 10+2 or any equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics as mandatory subjects and one of the subjects from (Bio-technology, Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biology) in the respective boards recognized by the Association of Indian Universities.
  • They must pass the qualifying examination with at least 60% aggregate marks or 6.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.

SAT Score:

  • Candidates should hold a valid score of 1800 in SAT Subject Tests (Physics, Mathematics Level 2, and Chemistry).

DASA UG 2021 Application form: How to apply?

Interested and eligible candidates are advised to read the important instructions given in the brochure carefully before filling the application form.

The application form for DASA UG 2021 will be available in online mode only. Candidates have to fill the application form correctly. Moreover, applicants will have to upload scanned photograph, signature and required documents on application page. During the online application process, candidates have to fill the preference of participating institutions/courses. For the successful application submission, candidates have to submit the required application fee. Take the printout of duly filled-in application form and keep it safe for future reference.

Application fee

Candidates have to pay US$ 4300 (for general candidates) and US$ 2300 (for SAARC applicants). The payment of fee can be made through SWIFT transfer or E-Payment (credit card/debit card)

Merit list

A merit list will be prepared by the authority based on candidate’s SAT scores for offering admission to DASA UG 2021. The eligible candidates will be called for counselling as per their merit. Seats will be allotted at the time of counselling. It should be noted down, the counseling and seat allotment process will be held in online mode. For the admission in any particular institute, the candidate will have to report to the allotted institute.
