The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur will conduct the CG PET 2022 exam in order to shortlist the candidates for admission to B.E and B.Tech courses in the state of Chhatisgarh. The admission will be granted to the branches such as Dairy technology and agriculture engineering of BE/ B.Tech programme. In order to apply for the CG PET 2022 exam, the candidate must belong to the state of Chhatisgarh only.
It is being notified that the application form for CG PET 2022 has been released on 14th April 2022 and mode of application will be online. CG PET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria given below in order to appear for the CG PET 2022 exam.
General Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The aspirant must be a native of Chhatisgarh.
Educational Qualification
For B.E/ B.Tech
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational subjects.
- It is also mandatory for the candidates to obtain at least 50% marks at 10+2 level (40% for the candidates from SC, ST, OBC and Physically disabled candidates.
For B.Tech (Dairy Technology)
- The aspirant must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Subjects.
- The candidate should have at least 50% marks at 10+2 level (40% for SC/ ST, OBC and physically disabled candidates)
- The age of a candidate should be at least 17 years as on 31st December 2020.
CG PET 2022 Application Form
CG PET 2022 application form has been released only in online mode through the official website of the board. In order to fill the application form, the candidates need to register themselves using an email id and phone number on the official website. After registration, the candidates have to login using their unique registration ID and password in order to access the application form.
The candidates should fill all the necessary educational, personal and contact details in the application form very carefully. Please note that there is no facility for correction window, so the candidates are advised to enter their details in the application form very carefully. Along with the details, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of the recent password size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression on the application form.
CG PET Application Fee 2022
The CG PET 2022 application fee for different categories will be as follows:
For General Candidates: Rs. 200/-
For OBC Candidates: Rs. 150/-
For SC/ ST/ PWD candidates: Rs. 100/-
Mode of payment
- The application fee will be paid via online mode using a credit card, debit card or net banking.

CG PET Syllabus 2022
The subject-wise syllabus for CG PET 2022 exam is given below:
Physics: Measurement, Kinematics, Force and Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion and Moment of Inertia, Gravitation, Properties of solid and fluids, heat and thermodynamics, oscillation, waves, light, magnetism, electrostatics, current electricity, effect of electric current, electromagnetic induction and alternating current etc.
Chemistry: Atomic structure, chemical bond, solutions, solid state, nuclear chemistry, chemical equilibrium, ionic equilibrium, thermochemistry and thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, surface chemistry, chemical periodicity, transitions metals, co-ordination compound, chemical analysis, biomolecules etc.
Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, co-ordinate geometry of two dimensions, co-ordinate geometry of three dimensions, vector algebra, differential calculus, integral calculus, differential equations, statistics etc.
How to prepare for CG PET 2022 exam?
The difficulty level of CG PET exam is considered quite low as compared to JEE Main or JEE Advanced exam. Still, the candidates have to prepare well in order to bag admission into a good college and desired branch of engineering. Here are some tips that can help the candidates in scoring good marks.
- First of all, prepare a well-structured timetable as per your learning capacity.
- Read and understand the exam pattern & syllabus of the exam. This will help you plan your studies accordingly.
- Try to brush up your basic concepts first before going through the other advanced topics.
- You should make short notes for all the important topics and numerical formulas. This will help you revise the syllabus quickly at the time of the exam.
- Solve at least 2 previous year question papers on a daily basis.

CG PET 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for CG PET 2022 can be downloaded from the official website of the board. The candidates need to enter their registration number and password in order to download their admit card. The details related to the exam center and timings will be mentioned on the admit card. It is compulsory for every candidate to carry a hard copy of admit card at the time of exam. No applicant will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.
CG PET 2022 Result
The students who will appear for the CG PET 2022 exam can check the result from the official website. It is expected that the result will be announced in the month of May 2022. In addition to the result, the board will also release the merit list of the successful candidates for the different courses. The successful candidate will be allowed to participate in counselling processing.
CG PET 2022 Counselling
Soon after the declaration of result, the schedule for counselling will be updated on the official website. Please note that the counselling for JEE Main qualifiers and CG PET 2022 qualifiers will be held separately. During the counselling process, the candidates have to provide their choice of branch and institutes. The admission will be confirmed after the verification of original documents, this is the reason why every candidate needs to carry the original documents at the time of counselling.
