BITSAT Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to fulfill following criteria who’d like to appear in this test:
Along with having good knowledge of English subject, candidates should have cleared class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. Candidates, interested to get admission to B.Pharm programme they should have passed class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Other Necessary Criteria
- Candidates should have obtained minimum 75% marks in class 12th for both PCM and PCB group candidates. Along with that, they need to obtain minimum 60% marks in Physics, Mathematics, Biology/Mathematics individually.
- Candidates who are going to appear in the qualifying exam in the year 2016 are also eligible to apply.
- BITSAT is an online (computer based) test.
- Candidates will get 3 hours of time to solve the paper.
- Total number of questions will be 150 containing four different sections such as General English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Math.
- Marking scheme: 3 marks for each correct response and 1 mark for each incorrect response.
How to Apply for BITSAT?
Application process for BITSAT exam will be made in online mode. Talking about the application fee for Male candidate is s. 2090/-, whereas for female candidate it is Rs. 1590/-. The payment of requisite amount can be done either by using credit card/debit card/net banking/ICICI bank e-challan.
BITSAT Exam Syllabus
Candidates those are preparing for BITSAT test, they need to follow the NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class. All questions will be asked from this only.

BITSAT Score Report and Merit List
Score report of candidates who have appeared in BITSAT exam will be available at the official website of respective authority. After declaration of result and score card, the university will prepare two merit lists, one is for all programmes excluding B.Pharm and another one is exclusively for B.Pharm.
There is also a provision of applying for admission separately after publishing of the merit list. Candidates need to submit the admission form in the prescribed format to the address specified below:
