Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) takes the responsibility of organizing Bihar Polytechnic 2023 examination. The aim of this exam is to select the candidates for admission to various diploma courses in the field of para medical-dental, engineering, part-time engineering, etc. The admissions are granted in numerous polytechnic colleges in the state of Bihar. Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Overview

• The candidates who will get selected for admission need to undergo a medical fitness test. The charges of the medical fitness test must also be borne by the candidates.
• Please note that the examination for Bihar Polytechnic 2023 admission is expected to be held in around 39 exam centers across the state of Bihar.
• Only girl candidates can apply for the ANM diploma course.
• The examination center once allotted cannot be changed in any condition.
• The reservation policy is applicable to both government and non-government colleges.

Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria depend upon the diploma course in which the candidate is looking for admission.

Polytechnic Engineering (PE)

• Candidate must pass class 10th or an equivalent exam with at least 35% marks.
• Students appearing for the class 10th exam can also apply.

Part-time Polytechnic Engineering (PPE)

• Aspirants must have cleared the class 10th exam along with ITI of at least 2 years duration.
• Candidates having at least 2 years of experience instead of ITI after passing class 10th can also apply.
• The age of a candidate should be more than 19 years.

Para-medical Dental (PMD)

• Applicants must have passed class 10th exam with physics, chemistry, biology, and English subjects.
• The age of an applicant should be between 15 and 30 years as on 31st December 2023.

Para-medical team

• Aspirants should have passed the class 12th exam with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Mathematics/ Biology subjects.
• Please note that those candidates who are looking to apply for the GNM course need to pass the class 12th examination with 40% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ ST candidates)
• The age of all the applicants should be between 17 to 32 years as on 31st December 2023.

DCECE (Lateral Entry)

• Interested candidates who are looking for a lateral entry admission must pass the 12th class exam with physics, chemistry and any one of Biology/ Mathematics or (with Mathematics as one of the Subjects) or Science with Vocational or Science with Technical subject.
• Aspirant with 2 years ITI after passing the class 10th exam are also eligible.

Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Application Form

The application process of Bihar Polytechnic 2023 has been started online. Those who are looking to apply have to register on the BCECEB website.

• During registration, the candidates have to provide their mobile number and email ID.
• The login credentials will also be generated during registration.
• After registration, the applicants need to sign-in and enter their personal information.
• In the next step, the candidates are required to upload the photograph and signature.
• In the photograph, the applicant must hold a placard indicating name of the candidate and date of taking the photograph.
• Then, educational details must be entered by the candidates.
• The next step is to view the preview of an application form. If everything seems correct in preview then you may submit the form.
• You should also take a printout of the application form and keep it safe till the admission process gets over.

• All four course groups: Rs. 1150/- (Rs. 753/- for SC/ ST/ DQ candidates)

Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Admit Card

• Once the application form submission process gets over, the authorities will publish admit cards on the official website.
• To download an admit card, candidates have to sign-in using the login credentials generated at the time of registration.
• Admit card comprises details about the examination schedule and venue.
• No candidate will be allowed to take the entrance exam without having a valid admit card.

The syllabus for Bihar Polytechnic 2023 entrance exam is different for various diploma courses.

• For admission to polytechnic engineering/part-time polytechnic engineering (PE/PPE), candidates must prepare as per the class 10th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
• If the candidate is looking for admission in para-medical courses, he/she needs to prepare for the following subjects – General Science, Numerical Ability, Hindi, English and General Knowledge.
