The interested candidates can apply for Assam Common Entrance Exam (CEE) in online mode. Only those candidates who submit their application successfully will be allowed to appear in the entrance exam. a specified amount of application fee will also be accompanied with the application form. The applying candidates should, however, match their Assam CEE Eligibility Criteria beforehand. The ineligible candidates who submit their application form will be debarred from taking admissions and will lose their submitted application fee.

How to fill Assam CEE Application Form?
The candidates can register themselves for the entrance exam by visiting the official website www.astu.ac.
On the home page, click the link ‘online application’ and then select ‘click here to apply’.
On the registration page that appear, the applicants will have to provide their basic information like name, mobile number, email id, etc.
The mobile number and email id must be entered correctly as any information related to the admission process will be communicated through this number only.
After successful registration, the candidates will have to provide the rest of the personal, educational, address and other such details as asked in the application form.
The photograph and signature of the candidates will also be uploaded in scanned format. The specification for the same is given below:

The candidates will also have to provide the choice for engineering branch and choice for college in the order of preference.
The choice made by the candidates in the application form will be taken in account while allotting them a seat.
After providing all the asked information into the application form, the candidates can submit it.
To complete the application process, the candidates will also have to submit the prescribed application fee.
Points to keep in mind
- Only the application form received on or before the last date will be considered.
- The Assam CEE Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates whose applications are received on time.
- Care must be taken while entering the details as any error in the application form can lead to its rejection.
- A copy of the application form must be kept by the candidates in case of future reference.
- The mobile number and email id must be kept active till the whole process of admission is complete.
