AJEE 2022: Dates, Eligibility, Application, Syllabus

Candidates seeking admission into various UG and PG courses of engineering, agriculture, management, law etc from AISECT group of universities in Bihar, MP, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand must apply for the AJEE 2022 entrance exam. They can register themselves for the exam through the official website. Candidates should ensure their status of eligibility before they proceed for the application form.

The tentative dates for the AJEE 2022 examinations are as follows-

Eligibility Criteria for AJEE 2022

Candidates should ensure that they fit the eligibility requirement set by the authority for admission in various UG and PG courses. The candidates who do not meet the criteria won’t be allowed to take the exam. The eligibility criteria for the AJEE exam is as follows-

B.E An applicant should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university with PCM subject group and have obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
Diploma in Engineering An applicant should have passed class 10th from a recognized board with minimum 35% marks
MBA An applicant should possess a valid Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and have secured minimum 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates)
LLB Candidates should have done graduation in any discipline and have secure at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates)
BA LLB Candidates should have passed class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board/university and have got minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
LLM A Candidate must possess LLB degree from a recognized university with at least 55% aggregate marks

Note: Those appearing in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply for the exam.

AJEE 2022 Application Form

The registration form will be available on the official website. No other mode except the online one will be entertained by the authority. Candidates should fill the details asked in the form very carefully. They should thoroughly check the details before making the final submission of the form. The information to be entered in the form should be true to the candidate’s knowledge. They need to keep the scanned photograph and signature handy. They also need to mention the mode in which they would like to appear for the exam i.e. online or offline. The registration cum application fee to be paid by every candidate is Rs. 500/-. It is mandatory for the students to pay the necessary registration fee without which their applications will be rendered incomplete.

Syllabus for AJEE 2022

The syllabus for AJEE examination varies program-wise. Applicants wishing to pursue UG course should study as per the level of class 11th and 12th respectively. Here are the subjects/concepts the candidates need to prepare to crack the exam with flying colors-

  • Engineering: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • MBA: Quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, English and general knowledge.
  • LLB: Current affairs, general knowledge, logical reasoning, mathematics, English and legal aptitude.
  • LLM: Current affairs, general knowledge, legal aptitude, and logical reasoning.
  • Paramedic and Nursing: Physics, chemistry and Biology.

Preparation Strategy

Candidates need to study whole-heatedly to score good marks in the exam. Here are some preparation tips through which they can crack the exam easily-

  1. Skim through the syllabus and jot down the topics you need more focus in.
  2. Start your preparation by brushing up the basic concepts first.
  3. Make short notes for quick revision.
  4. Practice solving mock tests on a regular basis.
  5. Read the newspapers and magazines for current affairs.
  6. Never skip meals for the exams. Eat healthy food, do yoga and meditation, go outside to freshen up your mind.
  7. Take the help from YouTube lectures for studies.
  8. Avoid using mobile phones except for the preparation purpose.

AJEE 2022 Admit Card

The admit card for the AJEE examination will be sent directly to the registered email ID provided by the applicant. Therefore, proper caution must be taken while mentioning the email ID in the application form. Candidates should also make sure that the email id they’ve stated in the form is active. The hall ticket must be downloaded and printed out for future reference. There mustn’t be any damage done to the admit card or else it will become invalid. Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam center failing which they won’t be allowed to appear in the exam.

AJEE 2022 Result and Counselling

Candidates can check the AJEE 2022 result on the official website. The authority will most probably announce the result in the last week of May 2022. It will release a merit list of the selected candidates based on their performance in the exam. Such candidates will be invited to attend the counselling process where they need to indicate their choice of branch and college. A seat will be allotted to them after the verification of documents by the authority.
