National Testing Agency has released AISSEE 2023 application form. NTA is the respective authority that manages the admission process of all the Sainik schools in India. The authority selects the students for admission based on the All India Sainik School Entrance Exam (AISSEE). Aspiring candidates should note that separate examination will take place for admission to class 6th and class 9th. Complete details regarding the AISSEE 2023 examination are provided in this post.

AISSEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are different for admission to class 6th and class 9th as explained below.

Class 6th

  • Gender: Only boy candidates are eligible for admission.
  • Age Criteria: As on 31st March 2023, the age of a candidate should not be less than 10 years and more than 12 years.

Class 9th

  • Gender: The admission will be granted to boy candidates only
  • Age Criteria: the age of an aspirant should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31st March 2023.

AISSEE 2023 Application Form

The application process for AISSEE 2023 examination takes place in online mode only. Let’s go through the complete application procedure explained below.

  • Those candidates who are looking to apply first need to register by entering their basic personal, contact, and educational details.
  • Once registered, unique login credentials will be generated for all the candidates.
  • Please note that the aspirants are also required to provide the choice of exam center city into their application forms.
  • After filling details in the application form, candidates have to pay the required application fee.
  • Then, after the successful application payment, applicants are required to upload the scanned copies of their birth certificate, caste certificate and domicile certificate.
  • Finally, the candidates may take a printout of the application form submitted for future references.

Application Fee

The registration fee for the AISSEE 2023 examination for the candidates of different categories is given below.

  • General and Defence category candidates: Rs. 550/-
  • SC/ ST candidates: Rs. 400/-

Mode of payment: The application fee can be paid online using a credit card/ debit card or net banking.

AISSEE 2023 Syllabus

The syllabus of AISSEE 2023 for month class 6th and class 9th is explained below.

For Class 6th

  • General Knowledge: The Universe & The Solar System, History of India, Indian Constitution, Human Body, Environment & Its Pollution, Food, Health & Nutrition, etc.
  • Intelligence: Basic Reasoning, Analogy Test, Alphabet & Numeric Series, etc.
  • Mathematics: Basic Mathematical Functions, BODMAS Rule, Number System, Basic Geometry, Mensuration, Ratio & Proportion, Profit & Loss, etc.
  • Language: Grammar, Sentence Formation, Tenses, Vocabulary, Prepositions, Verbs, Adjectives, Rearranging Jumbled Words, One Word Substitution, etc.

For Class 9th

  • Mathematics: Algebraic Expressions, Polynomials & Factorization, Congruency of Triangles, Area & Perimeter of Circle, Cubes & Cuboids, Spheres & Hemispheres, Statistics, Parallel Lines, etc.

AISSEE 2023 Admit Card

  • The admit cards for the AISSEE 2023 examination will be uploaded on the official website i.e. https://aissee.nta.nic.in/.
  • Information about the examination schedule and examination venue address will be mentioned on the admit card.
  • It is compulsory for all the candidates to carry a hardcopy of the admit card at the time of the examination.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without having an admit card.
  • Aspirants are advised to keep the admit card safe even after the exam as it will be required during the admission process.

AISSEE 2023 Result

  • It is expected that the result of the AISSEE Examination 2023 will be released online in the month of February 2023.
  • Along with the result, the National Testing Agency will also publish a merit list of the candidates clearing the written test.
  • Authorities will release the call letters for the students who will get their names in the merit list.
  • Apart from the result, candidates will also get the facility to download and check their OMR answer sheets.
  • To download the OMR answer sheets, candidates are required to sign-in to their account using the credentials generated during the registration process. A fee is also applicable for the same.

AISSEE 2023 Medical Exam

  • All the necessary details regarding the medical test will be communicated to the candidates after the result declaration.
  • The schedule and important information about the medical test will be mentioned in the call letters.
  • Those who will clear the medical exam and get their documents verified will get their names in the final merit list.
  • Finally, admission will be provided to those candidates who will get their names in the final merit list.
